- Eleven factors in four groups: sales, stock, price and newness. Return rate counts too.
- Sales over 7, 14, 30 or 60 days. Margin uses Shopify’s “cost per item”.
- “Why is this product here?” Every product shows its score and the factors behind it, on every plan.

Your sorting recipe
Five layers, top to bottom. You steer.
Every collection is sorted by a recipe. A higher layer always wins over the one below it.
- Pin and promote. Pinned products keep their place; products that match a rule move to the top.
- Push problems down. Broken size runs and often-returned products go lower; sold-out products and drafts go last — and return to their place when back in stock.
- Fashion logic built in. Season order from your tags, and all colors of a model kept side by side.
- Rules, written once. They apply to every collection. Turn one off for a single collection with “Off here”.

Will IO Smart change my collections without asking?
No. It asks before it changes a collection’s sort, and saves your old order first.
Can I go back to my old order?
Yes, with one click — Undo, or Restore in Sort history.
What data does IO Smart read?
Products, stock and order line items from the last 60 days. Never customer names, emails or addresses.
What happens if I uninstall?
Collections keep their last order. If you want Shopify’s order back, switch them back to Shopify’s sort before you uninstall.
Does it work with automated (smart) collections?
Yes. Manual and automated product collections are both supported.
How often does it re-sort?
